The Best Masticating Juicer
If you are looking for a juicer that extracts the most juice from your fruits, veggies, and foods such as wheatgrass, the Omega J8006 Nutrition Center Juicer is going to be your best choice. This high quality juicer extracts every drop of juice out of the foods that's most difficult to juice such as wheatgrass, collards, kale, spinach, and barley. You will get the most out of the Omega J8006 Nutrition Center Juicer and you will save on your grocery bill. Let's face it, the cost of fruits and veggies are high, especially if you are buying organic.
This juicer has a very powerful motor, it's easy to use and clean, has a low speed of 80 RPM's to help provide the most nutrition and protection from oxidation, it has a high juice yield, and an auto pulp-ejection function so you can continue juicing with ease.
The Omega J8006 Nutrition Center Juicer comes with a 15 year warranty. The low speed will allow you to store your freshly made juice for up to 3 days with out degradation. This masticating juicer also grinds coffee beans and flour.
The customer reviews speak for it's self.
Let's see what the customers are saying about the Omega J8006 Nutrition Center Juicer:
5.0 out of 5 stars Not disappointed, April 3, 2013
Did a lot of research, we made the right decision. Juices everything, very happy with the result. There is a lot of cutting to make it fit, but the quality of the juice makes it worth it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic juicer!, April 3, 2013
I bought this as a birthday present for my wife, but I now use it mroe often than she does! It produces great quality juice without too much noise. It works great on leafy greens like kale and spinach where a centrifugal-style juicer would struggle. We've even started mixing in "juice dinners" three nights a week during a diet. Cleanup is quick, and we think it looks great on our countertop. I'd definitely recommend it and say it's worth every penny to the avid juicer!
5.0 out of 5 stars Beats the hell out of Jamba Juice!, April 2, 2013
Couldn't have asked for any more juice out of this machine. It seems to get every last drop as the pulp is almost always completely dry. Stuck to mostly fruits and veggies so I can't speak much to the pasta attachments. Easy to clean, easy to use. Worth every penny.
5.0 out of 5 stars New to juicing, but I'm very happy with this device:, March 31, 2013
I read many reviews and mechanical analysis of several different juicers before choosing this one. I chose this one based on the long warranty, masticating mechanism, reviews regarding its ability to juice leafy greens, and performance in efficient juice extraction based on YouTube comparisons.
With regard to other reviews, I've experienced none of the following:
- chipping of the auger mechanism.
- stuck pieces or pieces flying out of the chute.
- broken auger/juicing screen. (seems very durable)
- difficult/long cleaning times.
- poor or substandard juicing performance, I never re-juice pulp.
I think some have probably obtained products not manufactured well or they are improperly using the machine if they have experienced breakages. You can push as hard as you want on the food, and it is plastic, and it could break, but you'd have to push pretty hard. Of course, manufacturer errors suck, but they do happen. My personal view is that if someone has broken the juicing screen more than once, they are doing something wrong or rough. This machine is well made.
Pros:
- it does juice leafy greens and the harder vegetables and fruits very well.
- it takes 15 minutes to make a full tub of juice, about 28 ounces I'd say.
-- this includes setup, chopping and cleaning time.
-- I make juice every morning, two tubs, almost exactly 30 minutes.
- it's very easy to clean, anyone who says otherwise is not trustworthy.
-- I just rinse it off with hot running tap water. (each piece and they come apart easy)
-- there are 5 parts, cap, auger, juice screen, juicing column and plunger.
- if someone thinks this is tough to clean, that someone has issues.
- it's really not slow. 15 minutes to setup, clean and drink seems awesome.
- durable
Cons:
- the softer fruits or veggies (e.g., cucumbers) can regurgitate back up the chute.
- however, if you run the soft through first, and the hard stuff after, it all gets pulped.
- the juice has more pulpy material then I expected, but it comes out with the supplied strainer.
- the chute is a bit narrow, but I don't think its a big deal, cutting adds minimal time to the juicing.
So, as far as I can tell this is a well made and designed device that juices very well, according to comparisons of this device to much more expensive models. The juice extraction efficiency is close to that of machines nearly twice as expensive. It seems very durable, though I've only had it a couple of weeks.

5.0 out of 5 stars Omega 8006 Juicer, January 31, 2009
I have rated the 8006 at five stars because of its efficiency, ease of use and quality of materials. The newly designed auger is a translucent black material that GE calls ULTEM. The warranty has been increase from 10 years to 15 years. The juicer probably functions the same as the model 8005 and 8002 so all of the previous reviews apply to the 8006. The power switch is located at the lower back of the juicer and allows the auger to be reversed if something would become lodged in the mastication extraction tube. The Omega auger is patented and has a two stage screen for greater juice output compared to other brands. For example, five medium sized HoneyCrisp apples produced a full quart of wonderful clear pulp-free juice. The apple juice does not turn brown nearly as fast as the juice from centrifugal type juicers due to the lower oxidation from the 80 rpm auger. There is very little foam, and the included screen can be used to filter the final product, if desired. The Omega 8006 does a great job with carrots but with this juicer as with any juicer, the smaller the items, the greater the juice extraction efficiency. I need to point out that the feed tube is only about 1.5" in diameter. There lies the problem with large tube centrifugal juicers. They waste about 20% of the juice and this is significant when you count the price of organic produce. I use a little cutting board to slice items while the juicer pulls them in almost by itself. It works very well. I juice greens including wheat grass and parsley, which can adhere to the spinning basket of a centrifugal juicer and cause the basket to be out of balance. This happened to me with a JuiceLady JL-500 and it cracked the top of the juicer before I could turn it off. If you do not want to cut the produce into smaller pieces then this is not the juicer for you. I enjoy using the 8006 and I have yet to see a bad review of an Omega single auger juicer. Of all the juicers made, this is definitely in the top ten and some websites rate it as No. 1. I can recommend this Omega juicer with no reservations. Enjoy!
